The Springhill High School Alumni Association Hall of Fame is an honorary association established to publicize and honor outstanding achievement of graduates and faculty of the Springhill High School.

In the process of honoring these graduates and faculty, inspiration to current students is provided, all within the spirit of the success of the Springhill High School.

The Hall of Fame has, as its dual purpose, the reinforcement of respect for excellence and the expression of admiration for former SHS students and faculty who have achieved notable success in the fields of public service, arts, science, athletics, business and the professions and education.

Nominations

Should you know of anyone who you believe should be inducted into the Hall of Fame, the following procedures should be followed to make a nomination.

Requirements

The following requirements must be met for an individual to be selected into the Springhill High School Alumni Association's Hall of Fame.

• Nominees must have been outstanding both in their chosen endeavors while attending SHS and since graduating from SHS.
• Nominees are former students who graduated from SHS at least eight (8) years before being nominated.
• Nominees from faculty and administrative members shall not have been active in the school for at least five (5) years.
• Nominations must include the year nominee graduated from SHS, achievements, community/public service involvement, awards/recognition received, personal and family history and why you believe this person should be elected to the SHS Alumni Hall of Fame.

Needed Information

The following information must be sent to the Springhill High School Alumni Association Office at 310 N. Main Street, Springhil, LA 71075.

• Nominy's name
• Address
• Telephone Number
• Year of graduation for a student

or

• Years of service for a faculty member
• Nominies Portfolio to include

• Their Achievements
• Community / Public Service
• Awards

• and the reason you feel this person should be selected.

If you are unable to provide any information on the person, give us names and addresses of those who might furnish us with the necessary information to consider the person for induction into the Hall of Fame. All information given will be held in strict confidence by the SHS Hall of Fame nomination committee.  Nominations must be received at the SHS Alumni Office, at 310 N. Main Street, Springhill, LA 71075.
